December Home Club Meeting Update

I'm sorry to inform you that we will not be having a meeting during the month of December.

However to those of you concerned about Home Foreclosure and steps you can take to help prevent it, we will be having counselors available from Community Neighborhood Housing Services at the Dayton's Bluff Branch to speak informally or one on one the last Saturday of each month starting this January 2009.
For more information about this topic contact CNHS at 651-292-8710

I'm also pleased to tell you that we are in the midst of coordinating our next presenter for this January. This person will be presenting information on the topic of tax preparation with the focus on home owners. More specifically what paper work you will need at hand as well as deductions you can take while doing your taxes this year. More information about Januaries topic will be posted as information is confirmed.
Please call the Dayton's Bluff Library at 651-793-1699 for more information.

Gadget updates to the blog: We have added a couple new items to the blog. One is a count down calendar, and the other is a link to send us an e-mail with your thoughts, opinions, questions, suggestions and anything else constructive you would like to add.

We hope to hear from you and see you, friends, family and neighbors at our next meeting.

Our September meeting went well, and we are starting to get a better turn out.

From Community Neighborhood Housing Services:
Denise Gathman presented information regarding many different home repair loans
and
Matt Brown shared some introductory ideas to prepare the home for winter

We are working on putting speakers together now for our October 9th meeting, to discuss other home issues during the winter season, and will have a new posting up with that information when it solidifies.
